Collection: Torch

Torch corals bring life and bright colors to your saltwater aquarium. Their long waving tentacles look like dancing flames adding a mesmerizing feel to your reef. These corals don't just stay still—they make your tank buzz with energy showing off eye-catching greens, golds, and purples.

Why Torch Corals?

Reef keepers love these corals for good reasons:

  • Non-Stop Motion: Their tentacles dance with the water flow creating a captivating, sea-like show.
  • Vivid Hues: You can find them in many eye-catching colors adding a lively contrast to your reef.
  • Tough & Satisfying: Give them the right environment, and these sturdy corals will grow into impressive groups.
  • Plays Well with Others: Torch corals often do well with other Euphyllia like frogspawn and hammer corals, making them great for mixed setups.

How to Keep Torch Corals Thriving

Give them the right care, and torch corals will become a long-lasting centerpiece in your reef:

  • Lighting: Moderate – Enough to keep them happy, but nothing too overpowering.
  • Water Flow: Gentle to moderate – They need movement, but too much flow will keep their tentacles from extending properly.
  • Feeding: While they get most of their energy from light, they’ll appreciate the occasional feeding of mysis shrimp or other meaty foods.
  • Water Conditions: Keep calcium at 400-450 ppm, alkalinity between 8-12 dKH, and magnesium around 1250-1350 ppm.
  • Give Them Space: Their long tentacles pack a sting, so make sure they have room to extend without touching other corals.

Torch corals bring energy, motion, and serious visual impact to any reef.
