Xyrichtys martinicensis: sometimes known as "Straight-Tail Razorfish"
These are a newer item to us- we do not find them as often as our other wrasse. We are excited to share these beautiful specimen with you.
These fish are carnivores and will eat worms, crustaceans (shrimp/crabs), and gastropods/bivalves.
The Rosy Razorfish tends to stay close to the bottom of the tank/ ocean floor. We typically find them in submerged vegetation, but always on a soft bottom (sand/ mud/ mangrove/ seagrass).
