Walking Batfish

Diet: crustaceans and polychaete worms along with small feeder fish. When first introduced to an aquarium, it may refuse to eat. We recommend feeding live saltwater feeder shrimp to entice this fish to eat. When feeding, food must be given directly in front of its position.

Tank Needs:

• The Walking Batfish requires open thick substrate (sand, gravel, loose mud substrate) to walk on and to bury itself if/when it feels threatened.
• Your aquarium should be a minimum of 70 gallons in size.
• Carefully selected tankmates
• Dim Lighting
